Gold and Silver Leaf Gilding

Gold and silver leaf gilding brings richness, depth, and an elegant glow to furniture and decorative elements. Our craftsmen carefully prepare and smooth the surface before applying extremely thin sheets of gold or silver leaf by hand.

The leaf is delicately positioned, pressed, and finished to follow every curve, carved detail, and ornamental motif. Depending on the design, the surface may be polished for a brilliant appearance or aged and glazed to create a softer, antique character. This technique is particularly suitable for classical furniture, frames, decorative panels, mouldings, and statement interior pieces.

European-Style Hand Carving

Our artisans specialise in carving European-inspired floral motifs and ornamental details entirely by hand. Working with chisels and traditional carving tools, they shape flowers, leaves, scrolls, mouldings, and other decorative forms directly into the wood.

Every cut requires precision and a clear understanding of proportion, depth, and movement. The carving process gradually transforms a flat wooden surface into a detailed three-dimensional composition. This craftsmanship allows us to produce elaborate furniture with an authentic handmade character that cannot be achieved through mechanical production alone.

Hand Painting on Artwork and Furniture

Hand painting gives each piece an individual artistic identity. Our painters create decorative compositions on furniture, panels, screens, and standalone artworks using carefully selected colours and finishes.

The process can include floral designs, botanical scenes, European decorative motifs, fine linework, shading, and layered colour effects. Each composition is adapted to the proportions, shape, and intended atmosphere of the piece. The painted surface can then be protected with suitable finishing layers to preserve its beauty while remaining compatible with daily use.

Decorative Marquetry

Marquetry is the art of arranging precisely cut pieces of wood veneer and other suitable materials to create decorative images and patterns. Our artisans carefully select materials according to their natural grain, tone, and texture before cutting and assembling each individual element.

The pieces are fitted together to form flowers, geometric patterns, borders, or more elaborate artistic compositions. After bonding, the surface is levelled, polished, and finished to reveal the richness of the materials. Marquetry adds visual depth and sophistication to tabletops, cabinet doors, panels, and other fine furniture surfaces.

Mother-of-Pearl Inlay

Mother-of-pearl inlay introduces natural colour, luminosity, and delicate detail to furniture and decorative objects. Each piece of shell is selected for its tone and iridescence, then carefully cut and shaped by hand to match the intended design.

Our artisans place the individual pieces into prepared recesses to create floral motifs, decorative borders, or detailed pictorial compositions. The surface is then refined and polished so that the inlay integrates smoothly with the surrounding material. As light moves across the finished piece, the mother-of-pearl reveals subtle changes in colour, making every object visually unique.
