About Us

A Focused Team of Skilled Craftsmen

2HMK is a specialised furniture and interior manufacturing company based in Binh Duong, Vietnam. We may not have the largest workforce compared with some of the region’s major factories, but our strength has never depended on size alone. It comes from the experience, skill, discipline, and dedication of the people behind every product we create.

Our team consists of approximately 30 to 40 craftsmen, artisans, technicians, and supporting staff. Many of them have developed their expertise through years of practical work in furniture production and decorative craftsmanship. They understand not only how to manufacture furniture, but also how to approach demanding pieces that require patience, artistic sensitivity, technical precision, and careful attention to detail.

This focused structure allows us to communicate closely throughout every stage of production. Designers, supervisors, craftsmen, painters, carvers, and finishing specialists work together to understand each project and maintain consistency from the initial concept to the completed piece.

Craftsmanship for Challenging and Artistic Projects

Our specialisation lies in producing furniture and decorative objects with a high degree of technical and artistic difficulty. We are particularly suited to projects that cannot be completed through conventional mass-production methods alone.

Our craftsmen are experienced in traditional and specialised techniques such as European-style hand carving, gold and silver leaf gilding, decorative hand painting, marquetry, mother-of-pearl inlay, antique finishing, glazing, and detailed surface treatment. These techniques may be used individually or combined to create distinctive furniture with rich visual character.

Every demanding project begins with a careful study of its drawings, proportions, materials, decorative details, and finishing requirements. Our team evaluates how each element should be constructed and determines the most appropriate production method. Many components are shaped, assembled, carved, decorated, and finished by hand to achieve the level of refinement expected from high-end interiors.

We believe that artistic furniture requires more than technical capability. It also requires an understanding of composition, balance, texture, colour, light, and the natural qualities of the materials. This combination of craftsmanship and artistic awareness enables us to transform complex ideas into physical pieces that are both functional and visually expressive.

Our Workshop

Our production facility covers approximately 2,000 square metres in Binh Duong, one of Vietnam’s most established furniture-manufacturing regions. The workshop provides dedicated areas for woodworking, assembly, carving, surface preparation, decorative work, painting, finishing, inspection, and packing.

Rather than operating as a large-volume production line, our workshop is organised to support detailed and specialised work. This environment allows our craftsmen to give each project the time and concentration it requires. It also gives us the flexibility to produce bespoke furniture, limited collections, prototypes, samples, and technically demanding decorative pieces.

Throughout the production process, our supervisors monitor construction quality, proportions, surface preparation, decorative details, colour, and finishing. Each stage is reviewed before the piece moves forward, helping us identify and correct issues early while preserving the integrity of the original design.

Trusted by Prestigious Hospitality Clients

Although our company maintains a focused team, the furniture produced by our craftsmen has been selected for prestigious hospitality projects in both international and domestic markets.

Our clients and project partners include leading hotels and restaurants in the United States, as well as five-star hotels and luxury hospitality destinations in Vietnam. Projects in these environments require more than an attractive appearance. Furniture must meet demanding expectations for construction quality, consistency, durability, finishing, delivery, and overall presentation.

Working on high-end hospitality projects has strengthened our ability to understand detailed specifications, collaborate with professional designers and project teams, and maintain quality across multiple pieces. We recognise that every item forms part of a larger interior concept and must contribute to the atmosphere, identity, and guest experience of the completed space.

Whether we are producing a single statement piece or a coordinated collection for a larger project, we approach the work with the same level of responsibility and attention.

From Design Concept to Finished Piece

We work closely with interior designers, architects, hospitality specialists, purchasing teams, and private clients. A project may begin with technical drawings, reference photographs, finish samples, material specifications, or an initial creative concept.

Our team studies the information carefully and develops an appropriate production approach. Where necessary, we prepare samples and prototypes to confirm construction details, colours, decorative treatments, and finishes before proceeding with full production.

During manufacturing, we maintain communication with the client or project team so that important details can be reviewed and refined. This collaborative process is especially valuable for bespoke and artistic furniture, where small decisions concerning proportion, carving depth, colour tone, surface texture, or sheen can significantly affect the final result.

Our objective is not simply to reproduce a drawing. We aim to understand the designer’s intention and apply our knowledge of materials and craftsmanship to realise that intention faithfully.

Quality Through Attention to Detail

At 2HMK, quality is built progressively through every stage of production. It begins with the selection and preparation of materials, continues through construction and decorative work, and concludes with finishing, inspection, and careful packing.

Our craftsmen pay close attention to joinery, alignment, symmetry, carving details, surface smoothness, colour consistency, decorative transitions, and the relationship between individual components. For gilded, painted, inlaid, or antique-finished pieces, the quality of the preparation beneath the visible surface is particularly important.

We understand that luxury furniture is often viewed from close range. Details that might be overlooked in ordinary production become essential when creating pieces for refined residential, restaurant, and hotel interiors. For this reason, we remain committed to careful manual work and thorough inspection.

Flexible, Responsive, and Personal

Our size allows us to remain flexible and responsive. Decisions can be communicated directly, technical challenges can be discussed quickly, and our senior craftsmen can remain closely involved in production.

This structure is particularly beneficial for custom projects, small and medium production quantities, samples, and pieces requiring frequent coordination. Clients are able to work with a team that understands the project in detail and treats their requirements with personal attention.

We do not seek to compete solely through production volume. Instead, we focus on projects where craftsmanship, flexibility, artistic execution, and reliable collaboration create genuine value.

Preserving Traditional Skills for Contemporary Interiors

Many decorative furniture techniques depend on skills that take years to develop. Hand carving, gilding, marquetry, hand painting, and mother-of-pearl inlay cannot be mastered through machinery alone. They require trained hands, experienced eyes, patience, and a deep familiarity with materials.

At 2HMK, we value these traditional skills and continue applying them to furniture designed for today’s interiors. By combining established craftsmanship with modern tools, technical drawings, contemporary materials, and professional production management, we are able to preserve the character of handmade work while meeting current project requirements.

Our goal is to create furniture that carries the mark of human craftsmanship—pieces with depth, individuality, and enduring artistic value.

Our Commitment

We are committed to being a dependable manufacturing partner for clients who value quality, detail, and specialised craftsmanship. Every project is an opportunity to demonstrate what a focused and highly skilled team can accomplish.

From our 2,000-square-metre workshop in Binh Duong, our craftsmen bring together technical knowledge, traditional decorative techniques, and a shared dedication to excellence. The result is furniture made not only to serve a practical purpose, but also to enrich the interiors in which it is placed.

At 2HMK, we believe that exceptional work is not defined by the size of the factory. It is defined by the ability, care, and commitment of the people who make it.
